| Pressure Vessel & Tank (PV&T)
Integrity Programs consist of qualified
Inspectors using nondestructive techniques,
including inspection to identify modes of
deterioration and failure to determine the
service condition of the vessel. The PV&T
program objective is to increase plant
availability while preserving physical assets and
operating safely without environmental upset. SS&A
is staffed with highly qualified and experienced
Inspectors. Our training and certifications are
performed in accordance with SNT-TC-1A and
API-510, 653 & 570.
PV&T Field
Inspections
The PV&T
Inspection consists of an internal or in service
field inspection which includes: a visual
inspection of the pressure relief device, the
vessel body, paint condition, supports &
access, and ancillary components. The nameplate
data is recorded. Nondestructive examination
techniques are used to determine the condition
and thickness of the vessel walls. The vessel is
sketched showing general dimensions, NDE test
locations and locations of items requiring
corrective action.
PV&T Inspection
Reports
The SS&A
PV&T Inspection Report documents the findings
of the Inspection. This report includes findings
of the field examination, nondestructive
examination data, vessel sketch, nameplate data,
calculated minimum allowable wall thickness, with
findings & recommendations.
PV&T Program
Summary Report
The PV&T
Inspection Program Summary Report is a
spreadsheet which summarizes the findings or all
the individual PV&T Inspection Reports and
includes the equipment ID & description,
inspection date, if any component in less than
minimum allowable thickness, if any corrective
action items were identified and the repair
priority. This spreadsheet can be expanded or
modified to include scheduling, budget or
maintenance.
